Achilleas Pistonis

Achilleas Pistonis was born in Athens in 1980. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (2001–2006) under Professor T. Patraskidis, and scenography under G. Ziakas, graduating with top honors in all years of study. His works have been included in some of the country’s most important private collections (Frissiras Museum, Vogiatzoglou Gallery, INTERAMERICAN, Benetton Collection, Hatzioannou-Naoum Collection, Mantzavinos Collection, among others). He has designed covers for books and music albums. His work has been featured extensively in newspapers and on television channels in Greece and Spain. Since 2012, he has been teaching painting, initially at VSA and AKTO, and currently at ARTENS.
