Christianna Economou

Christianna Economou is a visual artist living and working between Paros and Athens. She studied Sculpture at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art & Design in London. Her practice merges traditional Greek techniques with contemporary approaches, using mixed media and collage. In 2015, she launched the project “Boats that were not afraid”, an artistic restoration program of wooden fishing boats across the Greek islands.
