Rania Kapeliari

Rania Kapeliari was born in Athens in 1960. She studied painting and engraving at the École des Beaux-Arts under Sperantzas. Her works often include collage techniques, aiming to expand the conceptual boundaries of visual space. She draws inspiration from various cultures, frequently incorporating their elements, while the human figure — either directly through photography or indirectly through an abstract visual language — is a recurring and defining feature of her work.
