Alison Jackson

Alison Jackson (b. 1960) is a British artist based in London. She studied Sculpture at Chelsea College of Art and Photography at the Royal College of Art. Her work explores celebrity culture, creating staged photographs using lookalikes of famous figures in imagined private moments. Through this approach, she comments on the illusion of the image and the influence of media on public perception. She has received a BAFTA award and has exhibited internationally, including at Fotografiska in Stockholm and NRW-Forum in Düsseldorf.
