Savvas Haratsidis

Charatsidis Savvas (Athens 1925 - Lefkada 1994) he took private lessons from Panos Sarafianos, Theodoros Drosos and, for a time, Yannis Tsarouchis. In 1965 he began his professional involvement with the theater, making sets and costumes for the National Theater and Karolos
Koun’s Art Theater as well as other private companies. His painting, which includes a number of landscapes and interiors, but is primarily focused on the human figure and, frequently, its psychographic investigation, combines elements of ancient Greek and Byzantine art, the Fayum portraits and more modern trends as well.
