Eirini Efstathiou

Eirini Efstathiou (b. 1980, Athens) is a visual artist based in Athens. She studied at Tufts University, at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and holds an MFA from the Athens School of Fine Arts. Her work spanning painting, printmaking, and installations—focuses on collective memory and the public sphere. She has exhibited widely in Greece, Europe, and the US, including documenta 14 and the Benaki Museum. In 2009, she received the DESTE Prize.
