Fernando Botero

Fernando Botero (1932-2023) was a Colombian painter and sculptor, renowned for his signature style known as “Boterismo,” depicting human and animal figures with exaggerated and rounded proportions. Through his works, he often addressed social and political issues while also portraying scenes of everyday life. His art was exhibited internationally, establishing him as one of the most recognizable Latin American artists.
